He started this journey with a vision to eradicate avoidable blindness and an idea to provide equal eye care to every section of society. Today, SCEH offers the most advanced & comprehensive Eye & ENT care services by globally renowned and highly experienced doctors and paramedics who are deeply dedicated to patient care.
NAB is committed to promoting integrated education for visually impaired children. Through its integrated education activities, the organization strives to create an inclusive educational environment where blind and visually impaired students can access quality education alongside their sighted peers.
The Blind Relief Association is a non-profit organization based in Delhi, India, dedicated to empowering individuals with visual impairments. It offers a wide range of services including education, vocational training, rehabilitation, and assistive technology to help visually impaired individuals lead independent and fulfilling lives. The organization operates schools, vocational training centers, and rehabilitation programs, providing holistic support to people with visual disabilities.

Dr. Suma Ganesh
Dr. Suma Ganesh is Chairperson of the Pediatric Centre of Excellence and the Director of Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-Ophthalmology across the Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital Network, with over 29 years of service. Following her M.B.B.S and M.S. in Ophthalmology, she was awarded the Marsh Carter Fellowship to train at Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital, US. Dr Ganesh has been the recipient of the Dr. S.D. Athavale award, and ACOIN award for her work in strabismus. She has been actively working towards eliminating childhood blindness with organizations like ORBIS International and Seva Foundation.

Dr. Umang Mathur
Dr. Umang Mathur, CEO of Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), has revitalized the century-old hospital in Delhi since joining in 1998. Under his leadership, SCEH has become a top institution in North India, establishing 6 secondary and 58 primary vision centers in underserved areas. Dr. Mathur completed his Ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment at LV Prasad Eye Institute. An accomplished surgeon, he performed cataract surgery on former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He actively participates in research, including Project Prakash, and founded the Bodhya Eye Consortium, linking six community eye care institutions in India.

Dr. Shalinder Sabherwal
Dr. Shalinder Sabherwal, the Director of Public Health and Projects at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH) Network, trained in ophthalmology at RP Centre, AIIMS, and earned his FRCS from Glasgow in 2001. He completed his Masters in Public Health for Eye Care with distinction from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where he is also affiliated part-time with the International Centre for Eye Health. At SCEH, he oversees public health interventions through vision and secondary centers and various projects. Awarded the Hooper Prize at LSHTM and Best Paper at the VISION 2020 India conference in 2018, of which he is now on the scientific committee.
